PLANT - Henry PLANT (c1881-?), son of John PLANT, married Olive COCKITT (1884-?) at Macclesfield Register Office on 2 February 1910.

RATHBONE - Henrietta (1822-1904), the daughter of James and Henrietta Rathbone of Gawsworth, married Henshall COCKITT (1813-1883) at Astbury on 16 August 1840. Buried at Gawsworth.

RATHBONE - The surname assumed by James Rathbone COCKITT (1841-1870) on emigrating to Chicago some time between 1862 and 1866.

RIDGWAY - Mary RIDGWAY married Robert COCKITT (1800-?) at Prestbury on 10 January 1820). Probably buried at Siddington in 1833.

ROTHWELL - Esther BLACKBURN (b1822) daughter of Thomas and Alice BLACKBURN of Goosnargh married Daniel COCKITT (1819-1852) at Goosnargh on 6 August 1843. She married William ROTHWELL at Goosnargh on 20 January 1853.

ROYLANCE - Eliza ROYLANCE (1832-1874), the daughter of Edmund ROYLANCE a road surveyor,  married William COCKITT (1815-?) at St Peter's, Macclesfield on 17 September 1871. She is buried at Siddington.

THORNLEY - John THORNLEY probably the John son of John & Mary THORNLEY baptised at Bosley, Cheshire, on 9 October 1842. Married Esther Ann COCKITT (1843-?) and lived in Chicago, USA from around 1870 to late 1880s. Landlord of the Crescent Inn, Broadbottom, in Cheshire in 1891. Children John, Henrietta, Minnie, Esther A(nn), Joseph H, Charles E.

WALKER - James WALKER, a widower and son of James WALKER, married Elizabeth COCKITT (nee BOWER(S)) at St Michael's, Macclesfield, on 9 February 1846.

WILSON - Joseph WILSON married Mary COCKITT (1803-?) at Prestbury on 25 December 1823. He was dead by 1851. Daughter - June WILSON

WILSON - Louis COCKITT (1826-189?) was lodging with John & Nancy WILSON and their daughter Martha in Macclesfield in 1851. His sister Louisa (1828-?) had replaced him as the Wilsons' lodger in 1861.

YEATES - Elizabeth YEATES (1845-1911), daughter of George & Ann YEATES of Worcester, married Charles COCKITT (1850-1927) at Prestbury on 20 July 1874.
