My first camera was given to me by my mom and dad for Christmas in 1957 when I was 17 years old. It was an 8mm movie camera and my mom thought I would be disappointed that it was the only gift I was getting. I've thanked her for it ever since and have had a life long fascination with motion picture photography. Up until recently when I got interested in web page designing I was never much for still pictures but now must acknowledge that they have their good points. My motto was "Anything for a picture" and it usually involved doing something a little dangerous to get a better picture.
