Violet Hendrix compiled the information, and did the research on a book titled:
The Hendrix Family of Carter County, TN
This book was written in 1975, and had many contributors, but most of the research was done by Violet
Violet was the wife of Thomas Cal Hendrix Jr. Incorporated in this book is a brief look at the Taylor Family.

     Aditha Taylor b. 1819, d. 1849, was the daughter of Jonathan Taylor, and Barsheba Daniel. Aditha married Harrison Hendrix March 16, 1858. Harrison was the son of Solomon Hendrix, and Susanna Hart.
Aditha and Harrison had the following children: James Andrew, Solomon Harrison, Jonathan Taylor, Abraham I., and Jacob Range Hendrix. Jacob was raised for a time by his grandmother, Barsheba Daniel, after his mother died.
After Aditha died in 1849, Harrison married Nancy Campbell.  They had four more children.

This home was built by, William H. Hendrix for his bride, Mary Taylor,b. 1831, d. 1882. They married in 1853.
Mary Taylor was sister to Aditha, and daughter of Jonathan Taylor and Barsheba Daniel Taylor. William was a brother to Aditha's Husband, Harrison Hendrix.
Caswell M Taylor, first cousin to Aditha and Mary Taylor, married Harrison and William's sister, Delcenia Hendrix. Caswell M Taylor was the son of Andrew Taylor III, brother to Jonathan Taylor.
Caswell and Delcenia had the following children: Julia Allice, William A, Sabra Susan, and Martha Taylor, who died in her teens.
Caswell died at the young age of 30. Harrison Hendrix became legal guardian for the orphan children of Delcenia and Caswell. Delcenia never remarried.
