shellz00--My name is Shelley and I'll be 26 in October - I'm married to Tony(29) and we have a 65 lb. sheep-dogish mutt named Langdon. He's been our baby for the 2 1/2 years! I'm very excited to be pregnant - it's nice to share my experiences with you all on our February Board! I've learned so much from you guys! We live in New Jersey. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment, it has plenty of room as our babies sleep with us. We plan for a waterbirth with midwives at a Birth Center. We love the Lord and have given this pregnancy, and birth to Him.
perfectrose--My name is Valerie, I'm 28, and my husband, Blair is 32. We are expecting our first child 2/2/00. Blair is just sure that it will be born on 2/10--because that's his birthday--but I say no. Hopefully our little one will get his/her own date. We live in Lakewood, CO (a suburb of Denver) and enjoy camping in the beautiful CO mountains every summer. Both sets of parents are already grandparents through our sisters, but are still thrilled for us to finally be having a baby. (We've been married for 9 years but didn't decide to try parenthood untiul recently.)

We live in Castlegar, British Columbia, Canada (which is a 3 hour drive north of Spokane, WA, for those unfamiliar with Canadian geography), but we are both from Vancouver, BC (where our families are). I'm a mechanical engineer and Paul is an electrical engineer. I enjoy activities such as skiing, sailing, crafts and working with children. luvmikey--Hi! My name is Heather. I am 27 years old, my DH is 29 and a police officer with public schools. We have a DS who is 5. We live in Springfield, MO. This is my second pregnancy and I am due 2/5/00. We have waited a long time to have another one and are so happy that I was able to get pregnant the second month we tried. Our son is so excited to be a big brother. I had an uncomplicated first pregnancy and hope this one will be the same. I hope to work up until my due date and then will be staying home for good, YEAH!
rynie200--Hi. My name is Michelle and I am expecting on 2/5/00. My DH, Patrick, DS, Kyle and I all live in Plymouth, MA and this is our second pregnancy. Kyle just turned 2 in May, so for us, this will be perfect timing for our new baby. My first pregnancy was uncomplicated until 31 weeks, when I developed severe Pre-Eclampsia. I had to have an emergency C-Section at 33 weeks and am hoping that I don't have the same experience this time around. I'm told that my chances are kind of high, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. To date, I have the same complaints as most of the other expectant moms, and it is really nice to know that I am not alone. beth333--My name is Beth (34) and my DH is Bob (33). We are expecting our first 2/6/00 and found out it is a boy. I work at an Aerobics Instructor and Swim Teacher at our local Country Club in Westchester NY. I hope to keep working as long as possible before the birth and get back to it as soon as possible afterwards. I have the best job in the world.
Step_ in_Il--S tephanie B urrell (25), Dh, Rob (25). Pregnant with 1st5 shild, due 2/6/00. Hoping for a girl, and so far the u/s shows "no boy parts". Live in Shelbyville Illinois, I am a nurse in a hospice program there. We have a 6 yr old black lab (molly) and an A laskan Malamute 1 1/2 yr.old (Alex), 1 inside cat 10 yrs old (Ashley) and several strays outside tha t we'vve "adopted". sherylynn--Hello, my name is Sheryl. My husband's name is John. I am 36 years old and expecting my first child. John and I have been trying for years to get pregnant. In Feb of 98 we were so happy to learn that we were expecting. Unfortunatly I lost that baby too early. Well after another year or trying using injectable fertility drugs we are finally here! We live in Verona Wisconsin. My EDD is 2/7/00.
