jehunt--My name is Janet(24) and my DH is Bill(27) we live in Southern Indiana and have been married 2 years but been together 9. We are expecting #1 EDD 2/24/00 and are very nervous and excited. A little background: I am an electrical engineer and my DH is self employed. We have two dogs, Simba and Katie that have been our children up to this point.
marihouse--Hi! I'm Mary(34) and my husband is Keith(36) from Louisiana. We have been married for nine years and have two beautiful daughters, Lauren(6) and Kristen(4 1/2). This is our caboose and we are due 2/24/00. I am a working Mom but we have a wonderful daycare for our girls and Lauren will be in 1st grade at a wonderful school next year. Everybody thinks we want a boy, and of course, that would be nice since we don't have one yet! But on the other hand, we already know how to take care of little girls!!! We just want a healthy baby! We didn't find out the sex either time before but we plan to this time! I went through labor twice and ended up with an emergency c-section both times, so this time, I will ONLY do one......I will have a scheduled c-section. I am looking forward to getting to know you all better.

Beaumonz--I'm Karen(32),dh is Tony(30). We live in New Zealand but i'm British and have been here since we married in '92. Expecting #1 EDD 2/26/00 after 1 m/c so nervous but excited! Tony is in the army so we move a lot and are due to move again in September which I'm very pleased about! I don't work at the moment as I'm studying at home for a Business Management Certificate. Have 2 cats, Boris and Koshka who have ruled our lives up til now...

Stacy--I'm Stacy, mom to Nicholas(1-18-98) and wife to Ed. We live in San Fransisco and are expecting our second baby around 2-26-00. We are about to begin remodeling and expanding our tiny house--we really hope it's done by the time the baby is born! I am a SAHM and Ed is a software engineer. We are very excited about having another baby. We're probably going to have a homebirth this time (Nicky was born in a hosptial), maybe even a waterbirth. I have always been a "granola" sort of person, but since having Nicky, I have gotten even more interested in such things as homeopathy and herbal medicines, organic foods, and attachment parenting. I am learning to trust my body and my instincts, and it feels great! My last pregnancy was very hard, and I am hoping my newfound trust in myself will help me get through this one with a lot less difficulty. I work part time in a daycare that I take my daughter to. My husband is a chef and kitchen manager. We have two siamesse cats named Sky and Shadow and a large hinze 57 dog named Shandra. soccermama1--My name is Beth Miller. My husband's name is Berry and we have been married for 13yrs. We have two sons (Jeremy-11 on Sept. 20 & Logan-6 on Aug. 19). Our new baby is due around 2/29/00. However; both boys were 3 weeks early. My oldest son was 5 when my youngest was born. He was in the birthing room with us and got to watch his little brother come into this world. He said he will never forget it. This time both boys plan on being there to see the "Miracle of Life". We live in the country near Jonesboro, in Southern Illinois. I teach 1st grade at a small rural school (k-8). I coach my son's soccer & baseball teams. I also coach Jr. High Girls Softball & Basketball. We are kind of hoping for a little girl this time since this will be our last (planned anyway). However; we don't really care as long as it is healthy.
