aliceg99--I am Alice (33), married for 10 years to Greg (34), and we live in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Pmbg is about half an hour inland from Durban, on the East coast. We have three children- Daniel (7), Jessica (5), and Megan (3), all c/s. Our fourth is due on the 8th of Feb., but I will probably have a c/s a week early. VBACs are not done here, especially after 3 c/s's. I trained as a textile designer, and worked as a graphic artist, but have been a SAHM since the babies were born. This year in January (our school year starts then) we started homeschooling Daniel and Jess, using the Konos curriculum. We love the relaxed homeschool lifestyle, and I think it will easier to fit around a new baby than the rigid public school schedules. We are very exvited to be having #4 (we tried for 6 months) although more than 2 or 3 children is very uncommon here. We have always wanted a large family, and hope we can fit in a few more before the factory closes!!!

marshella--I am Marshella (30) and my husband is Robert (29) and we are expecting our first child on 2/10/00. We are very excited as we've been trying, including infertility treatments, for 5 and a half years. I had started my in home family child care business five years ago in anticpation of being able to stay at home with my own children. I had just resigned as President of our local child care association and was getting out of childcare, sold my infant equipment and toys and planned to continue to work from home reselling flea market buys and excess junk we had around the house, when we got the news that I was pregnant! What a shock, we just thought it couldn't happen. We had tried IUI treatments, clomid, had all kinds of test, etc, and then we give up, even went back on birth control pills for a few months, then decided I really didn't need them anyway, took on a laisse-faire attitude, and now this! We are in Baltimore County, Maryland. Rob is an only child and his parents will be most delighted with this news. We are going to try and to wait until the end of the first trimester to tell them. schatje99--Hi, I'm Heather(33) and a mother of two beautiful daughters, Elisabeth(9) and Rebecca(8-beginning of July). I have been married nearly 10 years to a wonderful man, Peter(32). I like crafts, learning how to make a home a home, reading and I've started doing crative memories and tracking my family tree. I lived most of my adult life in Holland and have recently moved back to Southern California. I am mostly a SAHM, working 2 hours, two mornings a week, more for fun than profit. I have three cats, though two was my limit, I couldn't resist a little orphan kitten. Now three is my absolute limit. : )
We are expecting our third child around 2/10/00. Before I got pregnant we had just put our 2-bedroom home on the market, we were shopping for something larger! I guess it will have to be even larger than planned. I hope we find something in time to decorate a nursery!
jksprigg--My name is Kara. I am 28 years old. My DH is Joe and he is 28 also. We live in Mays Landing, NJ, about 45 minutes from Atlantic City. We have a daughter named Amanda who is 9, and a son named Joey who is 6. We are expecting our 3rd child on 2/11/00. This one was quite a shock to us. We were trying for a third for about 2 years after my son was born. We stopped trying, I got a breast reduction, and boom-I GET PREGNANT! I know this sounds awful, but at first I was not very happy about it. Of course now I am very excited! We bought our home in December of 1997, bought two Rottweilers in February 98' and just bought a brand new car in June 99'. We have come a long way from those days when we had no vehicle and couldn't afford cable TV! LOL! Don't tell my boss, but I am usually on during the day at work!!! susanh--I'm Susan (34), DH Tim and I are expecting our third little miracle around 2/14. We are the parents of two boys, Alex (6) and Jordan (13mos). Jordan is still nursing, which is fine with me. First birth was induced and gorrible and the second was unplanned, unassisted homebirth, which was wonderful. We're still undecided where this baby will be born. I work FT as an engineer in the computer industry in California's silicon valley and love it, even if it is hard on family life sometimes. Tim works for the same company. We spend our free time riding bikes as a family, building model trains (keeping little fingers out of trains), playing piano (me), playing with our computer related toys, reading books to kids and puttering around our house and yard.
