Kojing and the Polar Bear

Many many moons ago in the white frozen lands, a young native girl named Kojing lived with many of her sisters. She was a brave young warrior girl, having gone to live in the great white frozen lands to defend her peoples from all warring lands. She lived her days in a routine, everything put in order. It was an easy life.

One day though, things changed for Kojing. As she was sitting under the drawbridge, for solitude, she met a large scary Polar Bear. At first she was afraid of him! She had never been so close to a Polar Bear before! Oddly the fright didn't last long. Polar Bear was kind and gentle, and wanted very much to become Kojing's friend. They spent much time together during the bright days, and also during the dark days. They soon became constant companions.

Every where Kojing went, Polar Bear went. He was her champion! He was her friend. Many people thoughKojing was odd because she chose to befriend Polar Bear, but Kojing did not care. She was happy.

Kojing and Polar Bear had many many years together. They moved from the cold white place, the land of the Polar Bear, back to the land of Kojing's fathers. It was a learning time for them. After having many children together--they were KoBears :), they found that it was better for Kojing to stay home with them, and teach them the ways of the Almighty Father, than to send them to the herding centers other parents sent their offspring. The KoBears learned much! They grew and grew, to be mighty children of the Father.

One day, the decision was made to take the KoBears far away from the herding centers, and the hectic pace of the land of Kojing's fathers, to a place of many long nights, and very short summers. It was a place of tranquility, beauty, and goats and chickens. There were even turkcreatures, named after holidays, that were fattened but never eaten. It was a wonderful time for Kojing and Polar Bear and the KoBears. They may be there still, we will have to ask the storytellers for more on this time.

When they had been in the Tranquil place a short time, the celebration of the joining of Kojing and Polar Bear drew near. Polar Bear was wonderful in his celebration furs! Kojing was never more radiant. Polar Bear had planned a very special treat for his bride.

He took her to a wonderful gathering place, where the elite of Tranquility gathered to celebrate things. They ate scrumptious delicacies, but NO shellfish. They danced! They laughed! They partied! But the biggest surprise was yet to come! Polar Bear had planned an even bigger surprise for our Kojing! Having no privacy at the abode, with all the little KoBears running rampant, and no locks on the basement doors, Polar Bear decided to take his love to a wonderful resting place, called Jefco where much rest was planned. Kojing was excited, though embarrassed to be seen at the resting place. You have to understand, Tranquility was the land of the Polar Bear, and there were many of his kind there, but only one Kojing. Kojing stood out there, and was easily recognizable by all of Tranquilities residents. She was afraid that if she were seen, the others would think she was not getting enough rest at home, and had to come to the Jefco resting place to get some. They were able to get inside without being spotted though, much to Kojing's relief. After a time of rest, and great refreshment, Polar Bear decided his Sweet needed more nourishment, so he escorted her to the only place open.

Kojing was feeling on top of the world! She was very rested and well refreshed! Polar Bear was the greatest! It was a happy time. And, all had been accomplished without anyone spotting them that would be in the know about Kojing needing rest.

Until it came time to place the order for nourishment......Polar Bear had no idea that the Elite Celebrating Place didn't pay enough, and it's wait staff moonlighted at the local Open Late Place. The jig was up, and Kojing's face is red to this day because it was found out that she not only got caught in basements by KoBears, but also in Resting Places by waitresses from the country club.

There are many more stories in the lives of Kojing and Polar Bear, but there isn't enough room to tell them all here.
