Meet our Instructors
Debbie Hunter, CCI
Beginner Classes
Debbie has been dancing with the Casco Bay Cloggers since 1988 and teaching clogging since 1990. She is the only Certified Clogging Instructor (CCI) in all of New England. To receive this certification, Debbie went through two years of training with national clogging instructors and has taught twice at the National Clogging Convention, Atlanta and Nashville.
Susan Joyal
Intermediate Classes
Susan has been dancing since 1990 and teaching since 1992. She attended Debbie's first clogging class to spend more time with her mother (Debbie) and has been hooked ever since. Susan has also spent some time in the Certified Instructor's program but has not completed it yet.
She has been spending more time working at workshops and competitions, as scorekeeper; and is the chair for "The Maine Event" clogging competition hosted by the Casco Bay Cloggers.
