Francis Chamberlain was born in 1579.  He married Agnes Haiden in Ugley, Essex County, England in 1615.  Francis was a Separitist.  They had 3 sons, namely, Thomas, WILLIAM, and Edmund.

William Chamberlain, son of Francis, was born about 1619/20 in England.   He sailed from Gravesend, England in August of 1635 at the age of 16.  He landed in Boston, then went to Woburn, and later to Chelmsford.  William settled finally in Billerica.  He married Rebecca.  She died in prison on Sept. 26, 1692 in Cambridge, Mass.  She was accused of possible witchcraft!  They had 13 children, namely, Timothy, Isaac, JOHN, William, Sarah, Jacob, Thomas, Edmond, Rebecca, Abraham, Ann, Clement, and Daniel.  William died on May 31, 1706.

John Chamberlain, son of William, was born in 1654.  He married Debora Jaco on Dec. 6, 1681.  They had 5 children, namely, Deborah, John, Sarah, Lydia, and ABRAHAM.  Debora died on Feb. 24, 1703/4.  John died on April 1, 1712.

Abraham Chamberlain, son of John, was born on 4-17-1693.  He married Mary Shed(d), daughter of John Shed(d) on July 23, 1708.  They had 6 children, namely, Mary, Abraham, Benjamin, JOHN, Nathan, and Zaccheus.  Abraham died before 1739.

John Chamberlain, son of Abraham, was born on March 19, 1725 in Billerica, Mass.  He married Mary Slanter/Stanton at Rutland on Oct. 7 1758.  I only know of one son named BENJAMIN.  John was killed on May 19, 1784 by a falling tree in Wichedon, Mass.  After his death, Mary married Jean Darling.  She then died in 1788.

Benjamin Chamberlain, son of John, was born in Leominster, Mass on March 31 ( I don't know his birth year, but it was probably around 1760).  He married Martha Wheelock, daughter of Abner and Mary (Brown) Wheelock.  I only know of two of their 12 children, BENJAMIN and John.  Benjamin died  on April 26, 1844 in Drummerston, Vermont.  He served in the Revolutionary War.

Benjamin Chamberlain, son of Benjamin, was born on May 5, 1784.  He married Lucretia Boyden on Feb. 3, 1804, daughter of Hezahiah and Elizabeth (Green) Boyden.  Lucretia was born in 1782.  I only know of one child of thier 11, NANCY.   Benjamin settled in Ellisburg on Machold Circle in 1809.  He and his brother John each built a log cabin across from each other.  John's farm was family owned until the 1980's when it was sold.  Benjamin served in Gad Ackley's regular NY militia.  He helped to built fortifications at Sacketts Harbor during the War of 1812.  He died in Ellisburg, NY on Nov. 8, 1861.  He and his wife are both buried in Ellisburg Cemetery.
