Thank you for your interest and support to preserve and protect Barham Ranch. Today we received a tremendous boost in our fight to save this pristine wilderness. Supervisor Todd Spitzer has weighed in with his full resources to oppose the development of this rare environmental treasure. He has committed $4 million of County funds to purchase this beautiful 526-acre parcel at its appraised Fair Market Value. But we need your help now.
The owners of Barham Ranch are the Serrano Water District and the Orange Unified School District. We have reached a critical point where the public needs to be vocal in conveying their wishes to the elected Board members of these two districts. The message that needs to be delivered to these two Boards by you is:
"We urge you to accept the County's fair market value offer to purchase Barham Ranch. Do not lose this opportunity to preserve this valuable open space for future generations. Your responsibility as an elected Board is to serve the public's interest, and selling to a developer is 'selling out' the public's interest!" ________________________________________________________________________
