The family is fairly well documented back to about six generations ago,
and the seventh generation is beginning to come into focus.
I've spent a lot of time learning the basics of genealogy, and it's been well worthwhile.
I hope that, in the future, this site or some later version of it can serve as a repository of information where any of the younger set can come to learn more about where and who they come from.
I do intend to, at some point, put my entire family file online.
Until then, here is a listing of the surnames that appear in the files.

The locations are, in general, confined to Canada, the United Kingdom (especially Scotland) and Germany (North-Rhine/Westfalia).
