So much is said, these days, about the topic of alien's from other planets, that I thought I would comment about what the Bible has to say about alien's.

First let me preface this by saying, yes, they are real, because I am one! Now, having gotten that little fact out of the way, let me explain who we alien's are. There are a lot of us living on the planet known as Earth!

Although I am an alien, my parents were from this planet, and I was born here. I suppose by birthright that I am also a citizen of this planet. However, my home and my people are not from earth.

You see, the Bible tells us that I have received an inheritance from my father, and that one day, he is going to come back to the earth and take all of His children back to the place where he lives. That day is close at hand.

You have probably figured out that I am a Christian, and as a Christian, I have been "born again" (John 3:3). The fact that I have received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, has also caused me to have received the inheritance that is promised to me, and all other born again believers, (Rev. 21:7) who have become the sons of God.

In 1 Peter 2:9, (NIV) I am told, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." I further learn from verse 11, "Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul.

Now as an alien, do I have desires to take over the world and have "our people" rule over the citizens of this planet? The answer to that is YES! Do we intend to do anything that would harm the citizens of this plant? The answer to that is NO! Let me explain. You see, some day God is going to send back his son Jesus who is going to set up a world wide kingdom, with the seat of government located in Israel, in the city of Jerusalem. When that day occurs, and it will, all of us who have inherited that kingdom will be given the bodies of our homeland. Those bodies are not subject to the limitations of time and space, nor can they be harmed. We will rule with Jesus for a thousand years. During that time, we will do everything that we can to make the inhabitancy of this planet earth to be as happy and joyous as possible. But, there will come a day when all the inhabitancy of this planet will be sent away, some to a place of horrible terrors.

OK, that sounds meritorious, but just how in the world do I know that this will ever happen? Well, for one, the Bible says it will!

Sure, sure, but how do I know the Bible is true? Because God said it is. I know, you are thinking, "How do I know God is real? I have never seen him!" I will answer that with an illustration.

Have you ever seen electricity? You have seen what electricity can do, you have seen the power of electricity in the great lightning storms, and heard the sound of the thunder that is produced by it. But the actual electricity can not be seen. We can measure it, manufacture it, control it and use it. But we can not see it. Just because it can't be seen, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist! Of course not, because with out it, I would not be using the computer to write this.

You say, Well that doesn't prove anything, because I can see the effects and use it, therefore I know it is real, but I can't see the effects of God, or use him, so how do I know he is real?

Let's look at electricity for a minute. When you were a little child, your parents protected you from the dangers of electrical shock, by preventing you to have access to anything that may harm you, including electricity. As a child, electricity was all around you, but because you were to young to understand what it was, you were not aware of it. As you grew up, you learned to understand and use it for your comfort and advantage. What did you do to understand it? You may never have experience an electrical shock in your entire life, nor fully understood the ways that it can be manufactured or used. But you came to realize that it was a good thing, and, although limited in knowledge of it, you use it, within the limitations prescribed by providers. You do not abuse it, nor understand it, but use it, nearly with a blind faith that it will work.

Well, that is the way that I know that God is real. I have not seen him, or know what he looks like. I have never visited his house, nor for that matter do I know exactly where it is! But I know that he is real, because when I accepted Jesus, his son, as my savior, he in dwelled by spirit, and made me a new creature, an alien, to this planet. I now use, with limited knowledge, the presence of that in dwelling spirit to reveal that he is genuine. I have the assurance within my spirit that he does exist. He gives me comfort, joy, happiness, and provides for my family and me. Just as electricity provides for those that have it and use it, God provides for those that acknowledge him and have him.

This may be a crude example, but it illustrates that as a citizen of this planet I was blind to the reality of God. I was immature, a child in the spirit. When I came to know Him, I was given spiritual understanding, through the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit. As I grow in the knowledge of God, by studying the Bible, and listening to the instructions of the Holy Spirit, I began to "grow up", which allows me to understand those things that were foreign to me. Now that I am an alien on this planet, I am able to know the things of my true domicile.

Would you like to know if this is true for yourself? The only way is to "use it". You can become one of us. It, salvation and the new birth, is available to anyone that will ask God for proof of his reality. All that is necessary is to realize that as a citizen of this planet, you are limited to the space of this planet for the duration of your lifetime. That limitation is due to the sinful nature of all mankind because of the deceit of Satan to our forefather, Adam. To receive the new creation, you must acknowledge that your natural spirit is corrupt, and that only God can give you back that which man once had. When you realize your sinfulness, and ask God to forgive you, by accepting Jesus sacrificial death as atonement for your sinfulness, then God will give you a new nature, and you will also become an alien on this planet.

How can I be sure? Trust me, I have already experienced the reality of this rebirth. God is as real to me, as electricity is to you. Ask Him today for forgiveness and become an alien also.

Yes, we are here. Yes we are real. God lives and loves you also.
