Husband's full name:

Came to America from Boden, Germany at the age of 18 years. He had ten other children born and died in Germany. He was the first Beyer known in America. Martin lived in New York, NY where he married Elizabeth Schiffer. He spent most of his time at the blacksmith trade but did some farming. The family moved to Kansas in in 1884 where he died at the age of 83 years. He was blind the last three years of his life. Martin and Christina are buried northwest of Gridley, KS.
