Our only hope is to pray for our nation, pray for our children, pray for our education system and pray for our family unit. Earnestly pray that God will hear us and will forgive us for allowing this "mess of our society" to go on as long as it has!
Our country was founded as "One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all". Why did we allow that to change? I believe it's because we gave up morality, and have turned to self. We turned away from all the values that our parents and grandparents taught us. Most of all, we turned our backs on the Lord! He is our only hope for a better tomorrow, and we need to make Him the center focal point of our lives. That step is so simple, all you need to do is to ask Him to be the Lord and Master of your life, and to ask Him to forgive you of all your past mistakes. Believe that He loved you so much that He died a cruel death on the cross, just to assure you eternal life in Heaven. What a great act of love! He will never leave you, or forsake you, if you are His child! My wish, as you read this, is that you will realize that you,(alone), are unable to fight the daily battles of life without the presence of the Lord. I urge you to try JESUS, as you certainly have nothing to lose, but everything to gain! Below are some prayers that hopefully will help you in your times of need or despair. God will hear your prayers, but the answer is totally up to Him. He may not answer the way we wanted, but it will be His will for you. He will test you, to see if you are sincere in your faith. He wants total commitment from you, and nothing less. He wants you to be the best that you can be as a person. That is what all fathers want for their children!

Psalm 51:10-Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Thy presence, and do not take Thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Thy salvation, and sustain me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Thy ways, and sinners will be converted to Thee.
Psalm 56: 1-Be gracious, O God, for man has trampled upon me; fighting all day long he opresses me. My foes have trampled upon me all day long, for they are many who fight proudly against me. When I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee. In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me?
Proverbs 3:1-Lord do not let me forget my teaching,but let my heart keep your commandments for length of days and years of life , and peace will be added to me. Do no let kindness and truth leave me; as I bind them around my neck, and write them on the tablet of my heart. Let me teach my children to trust in the Lord with all their hearts, and to lean not on their own understanding, and in all their ways acknowledge You.
