I recently lost my best Friend(oops, greyhound) Tucker to osteosarcoma.I am getting another greyhound. later this month. At first I didn't think I should get another Greyhound, beecause it would be like looking in his sweet face all the time. But on the day he died, the quote in my planner was "The bes cure for grief is action." So here I am getting another big boy.I love all the sighthounds but greyhounds are the best and they seem the most needy for loving homes. p.s Nice site! Great Page! We have had our grey, Boots, for 10 months now. She is a five year old brown brindle. After a very rocky start (we foolishly thought that we were the boss), Boots has become one of the family. She was a special needs dog, because of terrib e abuse and starvation. She has really come around. My wife is trying to talk me into a second one. It will take some convincing, but I probably will concede. She has brought such joy into our house.

Greyt pages!! I really liked the stories of how each hound has come into your life. They are all so special, each with their own personality. Zima is our "monster boy" a.k.a. Juvenile Delinquent. River is the Clown Prince, ruling the household with quiet stare one moment and a goofy smile and air-nits the next!! We also have a Corgi girl (read grrrrrl...) and a very large Siamese mix. Loved your stories. I am the former Assistant Racing Secretary from Seabrook Greyhound Park. Your Topaz didn't by any chance run for either White Mountain Kennel or Frank Reid Kennel did she? Her sire and dam ring a very loud bell with me. I dealt wit all greyhound racing names and can't help but think I saw her parents run. Great pages and stories. It's hard to lose a loved one but we all know that there are more waiting for homes.

loved your web site especially the history of how you got interested in greys and each of their stories. we've two, chico and switcher. switcher came after ginger went to the bridge. just learned that chico has a very famous daddy, p's rambling, a hall of famer. would love to have another grey but i have my strong doubts that chico would not cause problem in our big yard with a third.
