The Mendon Fire Department is a Call Fire Department, which has 1 full-time firefighter.
There are approximately 25 members of the fire department. Among these members are EMT's and
a Paramedic. All other members are First Responder certified.
The Mendon Fire Department responds to a variety of calls each year including
structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, brush fires, water emergencies, and also
snow emergencies.
The Mendon Fire Department also has a fire prevention program that is presented to
the elementary school children and to the day care centers in town.

weekdays.
