RESIDENCE AT NOIDA FOR MR. GOEL

goel4.jpg (62539 bytes)

Built for the family of four, the house has been planned at 3 levels. The USP of the layout is availability of natural light and ventilation in all areas. Movement within the house is crisp and well-defined. Large terraces are available on first floor and second floor. The massing of the entire house has been done to take advantage of the sun movement in tropical climate like Delhi and also follows Vaastu.
Kitchen has been placed to ensure privacy from formal guest, yet it allows the housewife to keep an eye on the main gate. The kitchen has been designed for multi-functional activities like eating, washing, ironing apart from cooking.
The frame structure is built with RCC and is earthquake resistant as per latest building codes. Walls have been built using brick masonry while western walls use fly ash blocks for thermal insulation. The terraces have been designed to ensure 2" to 4" of insulating layers to reduce heat load in summers. The terraces will have white ceramic tiles to reflect heat and reduce the dead load of the structure.
