POOL IN A LIBRARY
Designed for a corporate tycoon,  the pool is built on a first floor in a space of 25'x40' accessible from the house and enclosed from all sides. The design posed a challenge in selection of materials since all details had to be waterproof, corrosion resistant and also light weight.The concept revolves around creating the water body  a midst  a library of  period style . The book bindings are mock-ups. This allow the pool area to be viewed as a setting from the vaulted wooden ceiling sitting area on one side.
