My sister (ugh!)

I set myself up for this one! I was sooo perfect that my humans decided to get another dog. What was I thinking? Ahh...there is always a bright side. I have someone to boss around now. And just imagine the stuff I can blame on her. I think some "counter surfing" and "tissue raiding" is in my future.
My humans (once again trying to be imaginative) decided to call her Cosmos Sea Shanty. 'Cosmos' is the kennel name. A 'Sea Shanty' is a song sung on board ships to help sailors work in unison. We're just calling her 'Shanty', for short. Her parents are Ch. Pinehaven's Casablanca ("Bogey") and Cosmos on the Wind ("Tilly"). She was born in Milton, Ontario, Canada on February 3, 1997.

Before my sister arrived my humans went to visit her on the sly and brought back some pictures. Here is one of the whole litter when they were 5 weeks old:

Well, Shanty is here now. At first I found her to be really pushy but now we're starting to get along like brother and sister. Here's a picture of the two of us playing a game of tug with MY ("she-thinks-its-hers-but-I-had-it-first") fleece blanket:

Shanty and I look very much alike. Several humans have asked if I'm her MOTHER!! What a blow to my masculinity!! Anyway, she's pretty cute....for a girl. Here's a picture of her taken on a trip to Newfoundland (Canada). She is 6 months old here:
