Angus is a sable-and-white Shetland Sheepdog, born in May, 1994. He is a very handsome dog, and earned Reserve Best of Breed (that's 2nd place) in the Fall 1996 Virtual Dog Show on the Internet. In the real world, he could not compete in Conformation because he is oversize. He has completed his CD ("Companion Dog") degree in Novice A Obedience, however it was quite a struggle and took a couple of years. Although he is very smart, he is also very stubborn and quite lazy, which makes Obedience somewhat hit-or-miss.

Angus was 5
weeks old when this was taken by his breeder. Three weeks later |

At first he was small enough to sleep in a cat carrier. He could barely get his head into it now!

Here's Angus at 9 months old, with both ears tipped, for a change! If you look closely you can also see his tongue sticking out.
This picture of him rated a "Cutest Picture" vote by the judges in the Fall 1996 Virtual Dog Show. Out of the 1600+ pictures entered in that Show, only around 30 were given that honour! |

Needless to say, we're very proud of our boy. He is very good-natured and easy-going and is remarkably patient with his "sister" Katie. Angus loves snow, playing fetch and tug-of-war and oh yes, he loves to pose for pictures!
