I live in Columbus, Wisconsin, along with approximately 4400 other people. This town is relatively small, but it's on the rise. A Super 8 motel was just opened, and pretty soon we'll be getting an aquatic center. I can't think of much else to say about the town, except that, well, THERE'S NO HOCKEY RINK!!
The high school has an enrollment of about 450 people. Classes are split up into four one and one-half hour blocks instead of the customary seven hour-long classes. Currently, I'm about two months and one credit shy of graduating.
The athletic program is okay. A lot of the money goes towards football, because our football team wins all the time. They usually win the conference title every year, well, since 1989 anyway. This year they finished second. The boys soccer team doesn't really do much, but it's a young team. We finished 6-15 this year and won our regional game, 2-1. Then we had to play the team that was ranked 3rd in the state, and lost 8-0.
