Who am I?
I grew up in Mt. Vernon, Iowa and lived several years in Iowa City. As you will see from the surnames being researched that I have Bohemian, Ulster-Scotch, and German ancestors. My wife, Toni, is from Wisconsin and her ancestors are Bohemian, German, Alsac and Swiss.

| State Historical Society of Wisconsin see page to get parking information. This library has ALL of the US census films and ALL of the 1920 Soundex. Some of the state censuses are also indexed. There are open Mon-Sat with both day and evening hours. |
