A Little Bit About Myself...

I was born on December 16, 1977 to Gregory Dean and Judy Ann Sprankle at Punxsutawney Area Hospital. I have one brother, Donald, who has currently been voted into Who's Who in American High School Students two years in a row... which is quite an acomplishment (especially for a kid who teachers used to say would never accomplish anything in his life... bet they're eating their words now. *GRIN*). To tell you just how much of an accomplishment this is... there is only something like a 1% chance of ever getting in twice and a .1% chance of doing it twice in a row. I am quite proud of him for it. I also have way to many aunts and uncles to go into names. My grandparents are, on my mother's side, Donald and Barbara Lunger and, on my father's side, Alice Sprankle. My grandfather, Albert LeRoy Sprankle, passed away in October of 1983.

I started Kindergarden when I was 5 years old. I attended Rossiter Elementary School before it was closed down and was transferred to Banks-Canoe Elementary for first through sixth grade. My seventh and eigth grade years were spent in Punxsutawney Area Junior High School. In 1993, I attended Punxsutawney Area High School for my Freshman year. In '94, I transferred to Jeff Tech (DuBois-Jefferson County Vocational Technical School) for the rest of my high school years. During this time I was among the first full graduating class of the Engineering Related Technology shop. I graduated out of that shop with a 4.0 and out of school with a 3.83 grade point average. I graduated fourth in the class and received the President's Award for Educational Excellence, for which I am quite proud of.

Now to tell you what I did with myself during most of those years... In 1991-92, I ran in the Junior High Track Team. I ran the 800 meter (half mile) and the 400 meter. In 1992-93, I was on the wrestling team. During my wrestling, I injured my knee which unfortunately put an end to my sports career. In 1994, I was involved in the Junior Special Olympics as a "hugger". They were the ones who helped and gave supports to the atheletes involved. In 1995, I was selected to go to the VICA Youth Leadership Conference in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. My senior year, I was a little too busy to get involved in anything.

My family has owned many pets. We currently have a Cocker Spaniel, a Sheltie (she's mine *G* Her name is Harley), and a rabbit (he's mine too *G*). We used to own a ferret and plan on getting one again someday. They are really playful animals... and so darn cute to boot *G*.

I won't get into my former relationships. I can say that I was engaged at one point in time but I am glad that it is ended.
