"GRANDPA'S FISHIN HOLE"

Salina, Oklahoma

This here story was told to me by none other than, you guessed it, my grandpa, he told me he decided one day to go a fishin, so grandma tole him , now paw, you know that it is surposed to storm, but grandpa said naw it weren't, well he picked up his {ole blue}, that were his fishing pole, well he got to his fishing place and it commence to storm somethin awful, but my grandpas', nope he weren't afraid, he commence to get a bite, and all of a sudden lightning struck a tree, right next to him and he jumped like he were shot, well he turned around and do you know what were a starin him in the face, yep that tree," but what were worse there were a bear,in that tree, well now grandpaw he haten been a goin to church much, but he commence a prayin oh so hard, he said now Lord I am a beggin ya to help me, but now Lord ifen you can't help me, then by golly please don't help that bear. And do you know from that day til now my grandpaw well he attends ever church meetin, as soon as they open that door.~~{GOD BLESS}
