A little while ago I discovered GENDEX, an index to genealogy pages by surname. Since this Web site is generated automatically from a database, it turned out to be relatively easy also to generate the text file used by this index. This way, the GENDEX database will be updated automatically within 24 hours after this Web site has been updated.
