OUR DOGS
If these pictures look familiar to you it is because the first five are Mark Raycroft's photos of our Rottweilers, they are included in the 1998 issues, and the rest are in the 1999 issues of calendars from Brown Trout. These calendars are available in Canada through Chapter's Bookstores and in the U.S. through Borders or Barnes and Nobles. The one of Reba and Grizz in front of the stone wall is actually one of the covers. Always did want to know a cover girl and now we have one of our own and the bonus for my wife is we even have a cover boy. What more could you ask for??????
More pictures will be added as they become available as Mark has taken some other photos that we do not yet have copies of.
The little guy on the left is Grizz at 4 months (Rottfire's Simply Irresistible) and his mother Echo (Wyreglen's Esprit De Coeur CGC RTD). Echo was the winner of the Brood Bitch Class for the Rottweiler Club of Canada and the Sovereign Rottweiler Club of Ontario at their 1997 Specialties. She also won the Veterans Bitch Class in the 1997 Rottweiler Club of Canada Specialty. Not to shabby for a girl who just hates the show ring. Echo's idea of a tough day is having to get up and eat. She may be a definite couch potato but she is the girl who makes everyone just love Rotties. She is the sweetest thing this side of Maple Syrup.

Grizz -- The monster---he was four months old in this picture and is now 23 months. He thinks he is a lap dog but it is hard to convince a 110 lb. baby that he doesn't belong in your or anyone else's lap. He allows my son to share "his" bed.

Grizz and Reba (Ch. Rottfire's Sweet
Dreams CD. CGC RTD) This picture is the cover
photo on a 1998 Rottweiler Calendar.
It is almost impossible to tell from this
photo but these two do know how to sit
properly.

This is Wendy's favourite picture of Reba. Reba finished #1 female in 1996 and 1997 in the Top Rottweiler Overall Competition as scored by the Rottweiler Club of Canada. This rating is based on points earned in Breed,Group and Obedience competition.

This is Reba just looking cute... she thought if Griz could look good on this hill so could she. Right again.

Just so you can see how the kids change this is Griz and Reba 10 months later. Here Griz is just 14 months old but a big boy for sure.

This picture for us was very special. Reba wearing a backpack for the first time and we walked her into position had her do a stand stay for about 15 minutes.
