Happy Ours started out in June of 2003 as In The Wind. Her original owner died suddenly of a massive heart attack, but at least he had been able to enjoy In The Wind for some 6 sailing trips. We bought her in late October, 2004, and moved her with the help of Steve Johnson and Warren lewis from Atlantic City, NJ to Edenton, NC, via the Atlantic Ocean to the Chesapeake Bay entrance, then the ICW through the Dismal Swamp Canal into the Albemarle Sound and then west to Edenton. It took us three days and we stopped for the two nights, although Hurricane Jeanne delayed our departure for about a day and a half. She rested in Edenton for two years, and Sue and I took her over a two day trip throught the Alligator River and Canal, up the Pamlico into Broad Creek and McCotters' Marina where she where she stayed until December, 2007. We moved her into Broad Creek Marina where she currently lies in slip #5. (april 2008) Bill & Sue Cooper Raleigh, NC
