This is Page Two, a look at our lives and interests.  For a look at our past, go to A Blast Into the Past! If you'd like to read about our trip to Revolutionary War sites, and Shannen's report on them, click here.   We recently added a new page on our Spring Break vacation, take a look!

Okay, we live....RIGHT THERE!  Oops, wait...RIGHT THERE!.  Now, see the little dot on the coast...RIGHT THERE!  See it?  Did ya?

Shannen and Dad
Shannen and Dad looking over the instructions for one of her gifts she received on her 9th birthday,  September 26th 1998.  Despite my best efforts, I really didn't understand how to get the electronic diary working, but Shannen was able to get it working within minutes of me giving up.

THE KIDS AND I LOVE TO DO A LOT OF THINGS, BUT SOME OF THE ONES I CAN THINK OF NOW ARE: SWIMMING, CANOEING, HIKING, CAMPING, ICE SKATING, ROLLERBLADING, BASEBALL, BASKETBALL, HIDE 'N SEEK, TAG, AND ALL SORTS OF BOARD GAMES...OH, AND TWISTER!   DURING PRESIDENT'S DAY VACATION, WE VISITED SOME OF THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR SITES LIKE LEXINGTON AND CONCORD, AND PAUL REVERE'S HOUSE.    IF YOU'D LIKE TO READ SHANNEN'S REPORT ON THAT VISIT, CLICK HERE.
WE ALSO LIKE TO WRITE STORIES!  YOU CAN CHECK OUT
"TIRE TOWN" BY SHANNEN, OR "THE HAUNTED HOUSE" BY CHRIS, IF YOU DARE!!!

The kids love visiting the farm animals near where I used to live.  Shannen has a favorite cow, she named Daisy.   She comes over to Shannen whenever she hears Shannen's voice.

Chris is visiting with one of the new calves that are kept separate from the other cows.  They have their own pens, and they love to have you pet them.  They have a huge tongue, and lick at everything they can reach...hands, shirts, pants and shoes.

We have a few animals of our own, too! In the picture to the left are our chickens.  They are egg-layers, not fryers, much to their delight.  Starting at the top and going clockwise is: Jenny, Medium, Big, Zebra Chicken, and Christy.   Melanie is out of the picture, as she is a most uncooperative bird.In the picture below are our bunnies.  They are dwarf lop-eared rabbits.  They love to come indoors and look around, something the chickens never get to do.  On the left is Paws, and on the right is Ears.  Paws is Chris', and Ears is Shannens.  Not yet on our homepage are our other pets: a half great dane/half lab dog named Ranger, and two cats named Pudge and Stripe, who are outside cats and barely live with us, and two siamese cats, Shatsie and Valentino.

Back to our Home Page, or on to A Blast Into the Past!for some pictures of times long ago (and far away, for that matter).  Or if you dare, read the kid's stories of terror and suprise, inTire Town and The Haunted House!  You could come with us and visit the towns of Lexington and Concord, where the American Revolutionary War started.  Or if you've been here before, you could view our new page that highlights our Spring Break vacation in story, picture and song.

Aren't digital cameras cool?  This is me, taking a picture of me!
