A Blast Into the Past!

Just a few pictures of times long gone.

Shannen and Chris get to see what it feels like to be in a U.S. Navy Blue Angels F-4,the only plane designed to prove that with enough engine thrust, even a brick can fly.

On top of Mt. Whitney, California, the highest point in the continental US.Stan Sandik, MD, on the right with the white hat and I (sitting) on top of Mt Whitney.  Because of some really stupid regs, we were not permitted to stay on the mountain at night.  So we had to climb the mountain, and descend it the same day.

Here's my Cute Kids!  I know every father thinks his kids are the cutest, but mine actually are. Here is a couple of shots of the kids, the one on the left is obviously a studio shot, and on the right is the kids on the campus of James Madison University, Virginia.

Whoa, Dude!  Here I am in what seems like a former life, as a student at the University of Wyoming.I'm sitting on my classic 1965 Triumph TR 650, love that bike!  I'm in a t-shirt, but note what is behind me, a solid 25 foot high wall of snow, left over from the winter previous.  This is on Medicine Bow Pass, which they try to open by Memorial Day every year.  This much snow left to plow through is typical.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Shannen. She is holding up one of her gifts from Christmas of '95.

Here I am, sometime around the early 90's, in my Dress Blues.Compare this to the picture above, of me on my Triumph.  Quite a change.  I have to say that I've had a pretty interesting life so far.  Hey, check out my bike, I bought it for my birthday, and use it to ride around the base.  I have a lot of fun, but my knees and hands have taken a beating while I try to learn how to ride down steps.  Okay, I guess this shot should have gone on the other page.  Too much work.

Now go Home, or to Page Two, or to Tire Town, or to The Haunted House
