Litter for our Little Friends

There are some kinds of litter we shouldn't use. This chart will tell you if you should use it or not, and why.

Row #1= Litter type Row #2 = To use or not to use Row #3 Why

Pine  No  It can give your rodent rashes and skin diseases
Cedar  No  The same as pine, but more severe.
Aspen  Yes  It absorbs, has no dust, and makes great nesting material!
Carefresh  Yes  It is made out of wood pulp, absorbs great, and is good for your rodent to chew.
Newspaper  Maybe  This can have harmful ink, and also it absorbs, but not great.
Corncobs  Maybe  These do not absorb at all, which make a big smell. Small animals like to chew on these though!
Grass from outside  No It can contain bugs, poison, anything that is outside, and little pets like to eat this!
Blanket materials  Maybe  These can be comfortable for our pets, but they don't absorb.
Nothing  No You should always have some type of litter. If you have none, there will be puddles everywhere.
