Henry Casper Gailliot married Franceska Dumoulin on 12 Jun 1893 in St
Augustine Roman Catholic Church in Lawrenceville (a borough of Pittsburgh),
Pennsylvania. Within a year, they moved to Braddock borough on the southeast
side of Pittsburgh. Figures G-1, G-2, G-3, and G-4 depict the first generation.

Fig. G-6. Within a couple of years after Charles Gailliot and his wife
settled in Washington, DC area, Charles located a farm for sale in Alexandria,
VA. Then, about 1920, Charles' parents and siblings moved from Braddock
to the farm in Alexandria. Here, Henry and Francesca Gailliot and their
sons, Joseph and Charles stand on the foundation of a barn under construction.

Fig. G-7. The farm played a central role in the Gailliot family. Chickens
were the main livestock and were sold from a butcher shop in old town Alexandria
during WW II. Later, the farm became a gravel pit- The Hill Top Sand and
Gravel Co. Then after the gravel was mined out, it became a landfill. Finally,
