Fill the squares with numbers from one to nine, using each number once.
The number must add up to 15 in all directions - horizontally and vertically
in all three rows, as well as the two diagonals.
Divide the number 45 into four parts so that if 2 is added to the first
and subtracted from the second, if the third is multiplied by 2 and the
fourth divided by 2, the result of each process will be the same.
There are three missionaries and three cannibals who were about to cross a river.
There's only one boat, and it could only carry two at a time. It's
not safe to let the cannibals outnumber the missionaries at any time-not on either
side nor on the boat. To complicate matters further, only one of the cannibals-the king,
could row, although all three missionaries could handle the boat. Can you figure how
many trips it took them to get across safely?

Missionaries and Cannibals
First, the king rowed one cannibal across and then returned for a second cannibal.
The Cannibal king returned and two missionaries took the boat. One missionary returned
bringing a cannibal with him. All safe so far.
Now a missionary went across with the king and brought back a cannibal. Then the two missionaries
rowed across, and the cannibal king took the boat. He went back for the other two cannibals,
whom he ferried across in two round trips. Altogether 13 Trips were required.

Manhole Covers
A square manhole cover can be turned and dropped down the diagonal of the manhole.
A round manhole cannot be dropped down the manhole. So for safety and practically,
all manhole covers should be round.
