December 16, 1986. well whatever that ‘must record’ weekend was will forever be a mystery. I wish I could finish book #1 with some profound summary of my life to date. Sum it all up, close the book , and start fresh. Unfortunately, it’s very difficult to be profound when you have to do most of your writing in the bathroom! And with all those little ‘unfinished chapters’ asleep (thank God!) it would be impossible to close the book. Michelle just turned seven. We celebrated our ten year anniversary on the 7th. Amazing! the twins are 4 and into everything. Chris (the babysitter) brought them home one morning...having seen them tooling down Miller on their hot wheel bikes. Thank you GOD! I’d thought them safely behind locked gates - only we discovered that Ruthy scales the fence and unlocks the gate from the outside.

September Song
no more kids at home by day
now it’s mommy’s turn to play!
wake ‘em up and get ‘em dressed
September means MOM gets a rest.
hello soaps, hello mall...
one thing for sure,
we all love FALL!

the twins started preschool 3 days a week...Alleluia! a light at the end of the tunnel!
