I am a stay at home mom and have several interest: sewing, cross stitch, crafting, gardening and cooking. But quilting is my passion. I have been quilting for over five years and decided to start a website to share my love of quilting with others. Quilters always want to help others and some are the most friendly people I have met. There are charts to help you figure what size triangles to cut for setting triangles and other "nifty" information to know to make quilting easier. QUILT GALLERY
This is the first swap quilt I made. Me and several friends each made 3" blocks using several different construction methods; traditional, foundation piecing, applique, and english paper piecing. Corner triangles were added to each block and then set on point. There are 72 blocks and it measures 72x86. It is hand quilted.
I made this queen-sized quilt for my father for Christmas 1998. It is called "Super Star". The pattern is from the Fons and Porter book "Quick Quilts From the Heart".
I strip pieced this Card Trick to speed up piecing. The method we used was from Eleanor Burns's Winning Hand book.
Red Baskets was a swap in which the primary color had to be red and the background white or WOW.
String Star is a quilt also from Fons & Porters book. I made this in 1997. The applique is fused with hand blanket-stitch around edges. It is hand quilted.
