It appears there may be something here from IGI. My limited info on my Zuschlag line is on my ggrandfather who was Eduard Zuschlag 15 July 1857, emmigrated from Goetingen, Hanover, Germany. Understand that he was from "Benterode" which I believe is Bemerode near Kassel, Hessen, Germany. Still don't have a line on his parents but many of your first names are the same as mine. His only son was named Walter. There's a Clara, Anna, Charles down the line. Let me find more than I will let you know if we have a match. Thanks for your info.< r>

Have many McCann relatives in the Pittsburg Area ,They came from Clifden Ireland, County Galway. Found this generation McCann still in Innisbofin Ireland. First names of Michael, James,John Martin, all born in Ireland 1850's and up.There is also a Festus cCann in Ireland now.

Great to have stumbled over this site. I've got to take some time to go over the information but have a lot to add. My grandmother was Genevieve McCann Goodrick whose parents were William McCann and Sadie Dillon from Mercer County. I will spend some ti e compling your information and sending you what I know. I recently met an Aaron McCann in the Atlanta, GA area who was originally from Mercer County. We have determined that we are related...we're all over the place.

Good stuff. I have alot more on the Becksteins. At least 4 Becksteins married Zuschlags. Do you have where the Zuschlages came in Germany? ludwig z. married second a Louise Becksein . They had no children. Two of his children married Zuschlags also
