And this is a place where I keep my thoughts,
which are usually about Annabelle.
So here are some poems I have written for her.

1st poem I wrote for her was when I was four months pregnant. The poems are not great, but I hope you engoy them.

My Annabelle
Like angels flapping their wings,
I can feel her move inside me.
Like church bells ring,
I can almost hear her laughter.
Although I've never seen her,
I can see her big brown eyes looking up at me.

Writing to my Lover
Today my lover is leaving, he's going out to the sea.
I wake up early to see him and say "I love You my Dear."
I run to say goodbye, but he has already left.
I ask the waves "Have you seen him?" and they reply "yes."
They saw him walk by,
with flowers in his hand.
If Earth was paper and the sky was a pen.
I would write you a letter again.

Today
Today I looked at you,
And I loved you more.
Today, I thought about you,
And realized just how much I need you.
And today while holding you,
I realized just one more time what true love is.

The Snowflake
The snowflakes fell
Before her eyes for the very first time.
They danced and played with the wind
one at a time.
She simply sat there
a sparkle of wonder in her eyes.
They were simply beautiful:
Pure, soft, and white.
She reached out her hand to touch them.
The snowflakes: pure, soft, and white.
But the wind blew so cold,
She tugged her hand back.

The snowflakes danced and danced,
They flew all around.
They tickled her face,
Before they were gone.
And with a smile: she thought to herself.
That that was enough.
So she went inside and sat by the window.
Watching the snowflakes danced and danced and fell down to the ground.
And watching the snowflakes made her smile.

ANNABEL LEE

by Edgar Allan Poe

In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.
I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea;
But we loved with a love that was more
than love-
I and my Annabel Lee;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that,
long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,

A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsman came
And bore her away from me,

To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
Went envying her and me-
Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)

That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we-

Of many far wiser than we-
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul

Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.
For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes

Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
In the sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.
