Welcome to my Paintings & Crafts page. Although I don't consider myself an artist by any means, painting has always been a form of relaxation for me. I enjoy relaxing with a paint brush in my hands, and visions of masterpiecs. LOL LOL LOL

Instead I created these paintings. Bob Ross was a famous artist. His way of painting intrigued me, just dab and drop paint where it suited you. So here they are, along with some crafts, hope you like them.

This picture was an experiment. I cut and created two platforms in the canvas. One middle right, and one bottom left. To this I glued tiny pebbles, and a tree branch. On the wall it looks three dimensional. I like the way it turned out.

I love landscapes, the more snow the better. This is a picture that I painted for a friend of mine. She came from Colorado, and said it reminded her of home. She teachs Martial Arts and it hangs in her reception area.

The black background for the lake picture was my first attempt at painting in black&white.

The summer landscape is my favorite, this one I kept.

The picture of the dog, is how I work. As I go along I snap a picture, just to get a general idea of how it's progressing.

The picture of the Marines on Iwo Jima, is a pencil sketch. A friend of ours named "Sarge" (naturaly) was a die hard Marine. He asked me to paint him a picture. This sketch was a pre-view.

This is also a pencil sketch of Jim, my husband. The picture is from the late 60s, but he's always looked good to me, even after all these years.

I wish the wall pictures were clearer. The portrait hangs in Connies home.
The Flowers are a combination of oil paints for back ground, and twisted paper, untwisted to form flowers. Another attempt at three demension.

I found two more pictures while searching through albums, one is a cave with water rushing in from the ocean, I call it my turmoil picture. You can always tell when I paint and I'm upset, Mother Nature looks wild. lol lol This is a regular oil, not a Bob Ross style, and one of my first. The other is a Seagull coming in to feed.

The Fan is made of Folded Wall Paper.

The window is filled with hand painted crafts. The church is all Ginger bread.

Lots of ginger bread hanging up too.

I hope you all liked the paintings,it was my pleasure to show them to you.

This Background set was made by me.I call it Moon Light. This set was made in Paint Shop Pro.
