So Janet went back to the woods and lived there by herself. Upset that Pierce has fallen for Brooke English, Janet started a plan to take over Brooke's life. Even if it meant getting plastic surgery.
(on a personal note here, even if she would of gone through the surgery how would she gonna get rid of the 5 or so inches she had on Brooke?)
Back at WRCW, Liza Cobly got in contact with Janet Green telling her she had some mail at the station and if she wanted to, she could come and pick it up. Janet went to the station, it was also the same day "The Cutting Edge" was taping a hate show.
Hate against gays to be exact. Two of the guests on the show happened to be Michael Delaney, a high school history teacher who is gay and lost but got his job back, and his sister
Laurel Dillon, Trevor's wife.
During the taping a shot rang out, and Laurel Dillon was killed. Janet Green was the prime suspect and was arrested and booked for the murder. Janet claimed her innocence but of course who was going to believe the "Crowbar Killer". Janet represented herself at trial and when Jason Sheffield was on the stand, Janet as well as the rest of the courtroom was stunned when Jason confessed he killed Laurel, but it was a mistake. He was aiming at Laurel's brother, because he felt that Michael turned his little brother Kevin into a homosexual. Which was untrue of course. Jason went to jail and Janet's name
was cleared of this crime.
Shortly after this trial, Janet got a job at a doctor's office. The doctor? Dr. Kinder, Pine Valley's feel good doctor. This is the man that got Erica Kane hooked on pain pills. Janet needed the job so she could finance her take over of Brooke's life. One thing Dr. Kinder didn't count on is Janet being able to smell a rat.
Janet knew Kinder was hiding something, something big. Janet then found it. So when Kinder came across Janet's "Brooke" file and threatened to tell Brooke about Janet's plans to take over her life, Janet pulled the ace out of her sleeve and Kinder kept quiet. He also offered to help Janet in her quest to get Brooke's face. But, Dr. Kinder had other plans for Janet.
Janet visits the Dillon's home to check on Amanda after she called and a doctor ansered she thought that Amanda was ill. It was on this visit that Janet found out that Trevor had lost use of his legs due to the car accident. Janet tried to assure Trevor that she won't fight for custody of Amanda. Janet told Trevor that she couldn't take Amanda away from the only family she has ever known. Trevor told Janet that he wasn't going to buy her line, and to get out of his house before he called the police. As Janet was leaving she turned to Trevor and told him she knew he would walk again, he was too strong not to.
Skye told Janet and ERica she had papers on Kinder, but couldn't remember where she hidden them. so Erica and Janet think that maybe she put them in the tunnels under her daddy's home. So off to the Chandler Estate and the slave tunnels. They didn't get a chance to check it out since there was way too much traffic. Janet then informs Erica that Skye is missing. They split up and tried to find Skye before Kinder does. Meanwhile, at Dr. Kinder's office, Kinder catches Skye going through all of his papers. Kinder knocks Skye out and tied her up and took her back to the attic. Under the infulance of the drugs, Skye tells Kinder where the papers are and he heads out and gets them back. Janet arrives at the attic and spied Skye chained to the bed. Janet tried to help release Skye when Kinder sunck up behind Janet and drugged her too. As Kinder gets ready to give both ladies thier lethal injections, Erica walked into the outer office. Erica once again laid it on thick to the Doctor, and tried to keep him off gaurd. When Erica left, Kinder went back into the back room ready to begin his final evil deed for the day, get rid of his wife ad his recetionist. Just as he is about to inject Skye, Kinder falls like a heap to the floorl. Erica snuck up behind Kinder and basiclly gave him a dose of his own medicine. ERica exclaimed "All for one and one for all!"
The ladies tied him up and handed him over to the police. But the police couldn't hold him without more evidence. Kinder drops out of sight. Kinder reapeared at the Wildwind Stables and kidnapped Erica's daughter Biancia.
