Three Become Two

The O'Brien Triplets

Elizabeth, Frances and Veronica

Our sister, she was our soulmate,
A place in heart no one could touch,
We watched each other learn and grow,
She taught us, oh so much.

Our sister, she was our confidant,
Our thoughts, with her we'd share,
And when our troubles seemed so bleak,
We always knew she'd care.

She'd laugh with us in times of joy,
She'd hold us when we'd weep,
The bond between us made us one,
We felt her pain so deep.

Too tired to fight, she closed her eyes,
So calm,it seemed, she slept,
Her pain, no more for us to feel,
We bowed our heads and wept.

We miss her, oh so dearly,
We think of her every day,
All those precious memories,
In our hearts and minds they stay.

From above she watches over us,
We can feel her now and then,
We smile because we know in time,
That two will be three again.
