Dying
Sitting by your side see the pain in your eyes.
Times and years of torment are about to mount up
in one last stand.
Decisions of yesterday Are going to be your destiny
for today...
Helpless and weak Your helpless body aches to be strong.
You look into my eyes
and see the life You once had is the life I possess today.
Gently I hold your hand. Trying to reasure you
that You will live another day.
You look out the window The tree's swaying in the wind.
Ruffling the girl's bonnet as she swings on the old
oak tree. I use to be that way, You say to me
I use to have fun and enjoy life.
You look toward me Coughing frantically I reach towards the cabinet. To help her get her medication..
Handing her medicine To her weakend hands.
I can't help but to cry. Tears of desperation, hopefullness
anger, and aggression. One moment of passion
One moment of pure unbridled love One moment of weakness
Led her to this.
She looks at me then is gone In a instant her soul is
transcended to the heavens
She is dead.
Her past caught up to her
