Outdoor Cinema

Here are links to professional outdoor movie presenters. They'll quote you a price, help you obtain your movie and license, set up all of the equipment, exhibit the film of your choice and do the teardown. Some appear to be better than others. Some just do it as a sideline to other catering services.

Outdoor Movies, based out of Rockville Maryland, is one of the larger companies. They provide outdoor movie services, rentals and sales.


Outdoor Cinema Network, based in Boulder Colorado, is another large company specializing in outdoor movie events. They, too, offer presentation services as well as equipment sales.


Open Air Cinema is an outdoor movie company that looks like it caters mostly to the West Coast. They have a wide variety of services, rentals and open air projection systems for sale.


Paradigm Attractions. This annoying, obnoxious little website is a party catering company. They do outdoor moivies--apparetly all over the U.S. Some nice pics though.



Avalanche Entertainment doesn't serve the West Coast, but you can get a good idea of the costs of services for outdoor movies and how to get started.


Great Outdoor Movies, based in Rochester Hills, Michigan, apparently will present an outdoor movie anywhere.


Portland Party Works. This is a local party catering company. To my mind, they have too many fingers in the pie, but they are local and claim that they handle outdoor movies.

Sidewalk Cinema. Looks like this guy is in the Seattle area. Doesn't give a lot of information. He does provide a contact page and is one of the few that spells it out right up front what you get and how much it costs.


Outdoor Movie Mania. Unfortunately, these guys don't say where they are located but they do lit their services and have a contact page for a quote.

 


I'm not sure where these guys are based, but It's2Cool has a wide variety of services depending on the size of your venue. Everything from small, intimate screenings all the way up to thousands of people.


Fresh Air Flicks. Sigh! Looks like these guys pretty much handle the New York area but the site contains a lot of useful information.


Lunar Flicks is a Seattle based company that services the entire Northwest (including Portland).


Epic Events & Promotion. These guys look pretty good. They are a Northwest Company based in Bellingham, Washington. They serve the entire West Coast.


Toner Sound Entertainment Group. These guys are in Pennsylvania. They don't say much except that they do outdoor movies.
