The Beast

By: Lisa A. Cave

Someone, please...

Release the beast
Who is chained
At the entrance of this dark cavity
Which contains her heart

She is frightened
Of he, who has graved her lust
for life and love

This frigid barren beast
Who lays at her exit
She can no longer attest his crazed eyes
Only his large white fangs
That snap
As she tries to escape

She wants to feel passion

The kind that burns deep
From below
That rises quickly
Leaving us woozy
Aching for someone
To gush the flames

That want, desire
Ravishing every muscle
Ardent, sweat
Raw flesh pressing raw flesh

Someone, please...
Release the beast

Save the woman
Lurking in this dark cavity
Rid her emptiness
Allow winged passion to take hold
Free her soul
