Hi! My name is "Dakotah Oliver Kentfield". When I'm a little bigger I will be "registered", whatever that means, and my name will be "MacCorkindale Kathie's Clown". When I was born I lived with Kandis and Stephen Swan at MacCorkindale's Beardies of Skyline Kennels in Salem, CT. I was born on April 9, 1999, and my dad is Ch. Knightsbridge King of Hearts, or Big Red; and my mom, MacCorkindale Aubrey Terhune, or Aubrey. This is a picture of me and my new mom on the day she adopted me. So now I live with Kathie and Jack Kentfield, and their kids Kori and Jonathan, and my new brother, Phoenix.

I am a fawn colored bearded collie dog. "Collie" is a Scottish word meaning "herding", and it applies to many kinds of dogs. I'm not a "rough collie", like Lassie. You can find out more about Bearded Collies at the Bearded Collie Club of America website.

My human Mom was really happy the day she found out I had been born because she was hoping that Aubrey would have a "companion" puppy in her litter for her. I'm not "show quality" since I have an all white head, but Mom doesn't care! She thinks I'm cute just the way I am! She especially likes my blue eyes.

I'm really lucky to have a new big brother, Phoenix. He doesn't look like the bearded collies I used to know, but Mom says that's because he's a German Shepherd. He's great and comes with his own built-in toy that moves every time he sees me! Mom keeps telling me, "Don't bite Phoenix's tail!" but he doesn't seem to mind... Not too much, anyway. He's sharing all his toys with me and even let me taste some of his breakfast the other morning. I think we're going to have lots of fun together.

		Here's some pictures of me at 8 weeks at our nearby playscape. I love to run up the ramp and climb through the tires and tunnels.
