We were able to bring Megan home on August 11th amazingly with no "extra equipment" and on no medication. Of course those first few nights I think we were all so woried that no body slept. We had so much trouble finding clothes for her as she was 4.6lb when we brought her home and too big for most of the preemie stuff. Her grandparents Martin and Maria in England came to the rescue and had a package rushed to us with lots of tiny things. The picture below is Meggie in her first dress......how cute!!!!

Even before Meggie was born she had a nursery full of stuffed animals, the white one in the picture below is from her Grandma Sal from England. The pink bear is one that we sent in the ambulance with her when they took her to UNC, the doctors would not discharge me so we sent the bear and a photo to put in her cradle so she would have some thing familiar.

Megan also loves Winnie the Pooh and of course.....Tigger too!!

Megan has just turned 3 months old and is doing pretty well health wise. She currently has an NG tube for feeding but she also still loves to take the bottle. Meggie is going to have surgery soon to replace her Ng tube with a G tube, which is going to be better for her....but we still worry about her going back to hospital.
