"Lions & Tigers"- These aren't the only animals you'll see here. Come and explore over 4,000 animals at the largest Metropolitan Wildlife Park in the country. The Bronx Zoo devotes 265 acres of its land to some of the worlds most endangered and exciting species. Bring your kids and family! There is a general admission charge for adults and children. "Great Adventures"- Come and experience the New York Botanical Garden and discover the best natural garden and plant exhibits in the Bronx. The latest discovery is the Everett Children's Adventure Garden, a 12 acre indoor/outdoor interactive museum for kids. Children can learn about plants, nature, science and even run through mazes in the Discovery Plaza. The Garden is open year round. "Let Them Eat Cake" - Celebrate your child's birthday party at the Botanical Gardens. Plan a scavenge hunt, potting and other fun activities. Arrange to have party favors and cake for your child's special day. For more information, call (718) 817-8181.

"Garden Highlights and Forest Tours" - Take a guided tour through the spring gardens or the Botanical Garden Forest and enjoy the beauty and peak of spring time. Tours are Wednesday and Thurs. Forest Tours begin at 1pm and Highlights begin at 2pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, Highlights start at 1:30 pm and Forest Tours are at 3:30pm.

"Bird Walks" - On Saturdays and Sundays at 12:30pm , naturalist, Debbie Becker will take you on a 90 minute walking tour to explore the nature of various birds and their natural habitats.

"Art and Culture Programs" - Come and see the works of multi-cultural artists in numerous media at the Hostos Art Gallery, located on the college campus. Exhibitions are held throughout the year. "Multi-Ethnic Art" - This museum houses contemporary works of art in all media, such as paintings, photographs, sculptures, print and etc. Much of the permanent collection consists of art from African-Americans, Latinos and Asian-American communities in the metropolitan area. The museum is open Wednesdays-Sundays. There is a donation of $3 for adults, $2 for students and $1 for senior citizens. Admission is free on Wednesdays to the art gallery. "Ongoing Classes" - On Wednesday evenings, the Art and Media School at The Bronx Museum of Arts offers classes for teens and adults in Art Making. "The House That Ruth Built" - Come take a walking tour through Yankee Stadium year round. Tours run Mondays through Saturdays, beginning at 12 noon at the Press Gate. Catch a view of the stadium from the inside and visit ares like Monument Park, the bullpen, the stadium dugout and even the team clubhouse (off limits when the team is in town). The cost is $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children age 14 and under. Group tours are available for 12 or more and reservations are required.
