I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Matamoras F.D. had a web page. I finally found out when my father, Henry Meyer, was fire chief. he was an early one. 1925-26-27. thanks for the information. The Gastmeyers are my sister and brother in-law. Ernie s a former Matamoras Fireman as you may well know.

July 10th marks our 85th anniversary of first appearing in the Port Jervis parade with Tri-States and I am happy to say that relations have always been good between Butler and Matamoras. Since all divisions began to have the refreshments at the PJ Traini g Center we have missed visiting your airport firehouse. Hope to see you all in a few weeks.
