IN MEMORY OF...MY MOTHER

Eunice Uneeda "Patsy" (Hux) Altum, 81, of Clinton passed away Monday, January 18, 1999, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.

Mrs. Altum was born in Knox County, Tennessee, on January 16, 1918, to parents of Charles Clay and Florence Fine Hux. A member of South Clinton Baptist Church, she enjoyed quilting, sewing and working in her flower garden. She especially loved children and was a very loving mother. Mrs. Altum was a lifelong resident of Anderson County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. "Jack" Altum Sr.; sisters, Mildred Norman and Marjorie Boatman and brother Elmer Hux.

Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and John Mincey of Knoxville,TN; Judy and Eddie Emert of Heiskell, TN; Janice and Don Henderson of Clinton, TN; Jane and Todd Wilson of Greensboro, North Carolina; sons James O. "Jim" Altum of Concord, TN; and John E. Altum of Greenbrier, TN; stepdaughter and husband, Alma and Carl Graham of Clinton, TN; brother, Herbert L. Fergueson of Nashville, TN; and sister Blanche Hartley of Knoxville, TN.

Pallbearers will be Jim Altum, John Altum, John Mincey, Eddie Emert, Don Henderson, Todd Wilson, Carl Graham, Bryan Emert, Michael Wilson, Darren Colwell and Mike Graham.

The family will recieve friends from 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 21, in the Holley-Gamble chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery, Claxton.
