I, Spencer Altum being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following. First I will that after my death my son Wm C. Altum have the lower part of my farm including the spring where he now gets water the tract I bought of James Spurling. Secondly I will that my son James C Altum have the home tract of land where I now live and my horse. Thirdly I will that my Grandson Spencer Altum have all the land belonging to me lying between the Home tract and Daniel Yarnells land which I bought from Crozier and Charles Altum running with Grasons line and that Daniel Yarnell have the privalege of Purchasing what land is covered by the water by his mill pon by paying a reasonable price for it and Spencer Altum to have the proceeds thereof. Fourthly I will that my Daughters Malinda Tiller and Louisa Brit have one dollar each. Fifthly I will that after my death all my just debts be paid and that the ballance of all my property and money on hands Except the bed on which I lie be Equally divided between my Daughters Polly Tucker, Martha Ann Davis and Charlotte Altum and that my daughter Charlotte Altum have the bed on which I lie & I hereby appoint Robert Miligan my Executor to this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made in Testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 4th day of October 1855.
