The reasons for this are varied.

First of all, let me explain what a *Click to Donate* site is, and how it works.
Click to Donate sites are websites where users can click a button to generate a donation for a charity or cause. The money for the donation comes from advertisers whose banners are displayed each time the user clicks the button. In most cases, the donation generated by each user only amounts to a few cents, and the clicks are limited to once per day per cause....but the goal is to accumulate enough clicks to add up to a significant amount, so it is important to pass along the site's link to others.
