Lil Ashley underwent her first open heart surgury at the age of 3 days old and her second one at 4 days old. About 10 days later we accepted the fact that Ashley was not getting no better as we were praying as much as we could, and nothing was changing but her getting worse. So when the drs asked me if they can disconnect her from the Heart/Lung Machine, I agreed and prayed that there was a miricle in that room at the time they were taking her off it. But unfortunitually there was no mircile, Ashley passed away on June 5th, 2001 at 10:34 am.
Ashley has 2 other sisters Melissa, Noel and 2 brothers David and Tyler. She will be sadly missed by all of us.
Currently I am trying to beleive there was a reason for my baby to be here and become a lil Angel like she has so soon in her life. Maybe sometime I will understand, but who knows, I just wait for the day that I can join her and hold her in my arms again.
